Cambridge is a city in Dorchester County, Maryland, United States. The population was 10,911 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Dorchester County.

Cambridge suffered race riots in the 1960s, and the closure of a tuna cannery. After 2000 the city received a great boost, however, with the opening of a glamorous 400-room golf resort, spa and marina.
Sailwinds Park is more than a place. Like the name suggests, the facility is a wind-like force that is moving the Cambridge community toward a brighter future. Presently, Sailwinds Park offers a 14,000 square-foot festival hall set on 3 1/2 acres of splendidly landscaped festival grounds.
